This is a picture of my C9 Light Strips, I personally got tired of spending 2 hours or more putting up those little metal stakes, only to look at them 2 nights later and realize that they were no longer straight. So I decided this year to take care of my problem. I spent $4.75 and bought 4, 8 foot pieces of furring strip. I then took off a bulb traced the diamater of the bulb onto the wood. I would then hold that socket where I had traced it at, and then pull the next socket as tight as I could and trace that one there. I did this until there was an even amount of holes on each piece of wood. I then took the drill and drilled a hole for each to the exact size of the c9, and pushed the socket up through the wood. I then went back and screwed the bulbs in from the top.
![]() As putting these out, like I said it used to take me around 2 hours to do both sides of my driveway. I will now be able to put these out and take them up within about 5 minutes. The best part though is that they will be perfectly straight.
Leave yourself some slack at the end of each piece of wood, by placing your hole for the first socket on each piece of wood very close to the end ( within a couple of inches ) this will allow you to fold the pieces up and stand them up in a corner somewhere or lay them down for excellent storing.
