Christmas CrossAnyone can make this to their own size with the same pieces. This is a pretty simple project that you can complete in a couple of hours, this project will show you how to create a Large Cross to show the 'Reason for the Season'. It is recommended to use approx 50 C9 lights, spaced at 7.5", attached with zip ties. Or rope light whatever your preference is. Cost of PVC pieces - $25 including cleaner and cement (Home Depot) Parts List- 30' of 1 inch PVC Pipe- 4 one inch 4 ways - 4 one inch Tee's - 8 one inch Elbows - PVC Cleaner - PVC Cement - Gray Primer To add extra strength to the cross you should add extra support on the vertical piece as we did on the horizontal piece.Spray on some gray primer to keep longer, or whatever your color of choice. Krylon fusion paint would probably work fine, another idea is to wrap the pvc in garland so that it will be attractive during the day. ![]() ![]() This project submitted by Chad and Danea | ||||||||||||
